    Meet the Family

Dad — The Rational One (Mostly)
Believes every problem has a logical solution, every disagreement needs a better explanation, and every situation can benefit from a little more analysis. He's usually happy to help—even when nobody asked.

Mom — The People Expert (Mostly)
A neurologist who understands brains for a living and people for a living… or so she thinks. Intuitive, perceptive, and practical, she can read a room brilliantly—sometimes seeing things nobody else noticed.

Daughter — The Independent One (Mostly)
Smart, sharp-tongued, and fiercely sure of her own choices. She can navigate the complexities of teenage life just fine, thank you—if only her parents would stop trying to help.

Son — The Systems Thinker (Mostly)
A tech-loving, deadpan problem-solver who prefers logic to social guesswork. He has a way of finding loopholes in rules, flaws in arguments, and solutions nobody else thought to question.

    The Person Behind the Pen

Gokul Tirumalai is an Indian-American cartoonist, writer, and professional overthinker currently based in India, preferably somewhere with decent coffee.

Perfectly Reasonable, Mostly is his attempt to make sense of the world—or at least to draw it in a way that makes you feel better about not making sense of it either.

His observational humour draws on decades of observing human behaviour, with plenty of inspiration from former co-workers and friends in California's Bay Area.
